How to Fit & Assemble Your Key Fob Cover

A quick guide to fitting your key and assembling your leather key fob cover — it takes less than a minute.

What's in your box

Your order arrives with everything you need:

1. Your handcrafted leather key fob cover(s)
2. Your chosen keychain hardware (swivel clasp or ring) and any personalized tag
3. One cover pre-fitted as a reference sample, so you can see exactly how it goes together

You may notice the hardware is packed separately, and one cover is left open. That's on purpose. Your key has to sit inside the cover, which means the cover is designed to open so you can place your key in — even a pre-assembled cover has to be opened to do this. So we include the hardware separately and pre-fit one as a sample, making it quick and easy for you to set up both exactly the way you like.

Step by step

1
Open the coverGently open the leather cover so the inside is exposed. It's made to separate for this step — nothing is broken or missing.
2
Seat your key insidePlace your key fob into the cover and press it in firmly so it sits snugly. If you chose the Button Cutting style, line your key's buttons up with the open cutout so they stay easy to press.
3
Attach the keychain hardwareClip your swivel clasp or ring (and personalized tag, if included) onto the cover's leather loop — just match the cover we pre-fitted for you as a sample.
4
You're doneYour key is protected in premium leather and ready to go. The leather will soften and develop a beautiful patina with everyday use.

A quick care tip

Keep your cover away from prolonged water and heat. Wipe it with a soft, dry cloth, and it will age gracefully for years. Natural vegetable-tanned leather deepens in colour and character the more you carry it.
